Single tooth gap

When a tooth is missing.

In the case of tooth gaps caused by the absence of a single tooth is defined as a single tooth gap with at least one tooth present in front of or behind the missing tooth. The absence of a tooth is a significant impairment and limitation to quality of life.The extent to which a single tooth gap is an impairment is dependent on age.
